"To
Lift A Nation" This 1/4 life-size bronze sculpture was created to
be a life-like replica of the photograph by Thomas E. Franklin of The
New Jersey Record which appeared in newspapers nationwide after the
events of 9/11. It depicts three firemen raising the American flag
amidst the rubble of the World Trade Center, to help strengthen their
fellow Americans and to remind us all that we are one nation. Stan Watts
was inspired to created this sculpture to honor the resurgence of
patriotism that followed this photograph's publication and to honor our hero's,
those who have fallen, as well as those who continue on.
